Rest Periods
Infants will be allowed to rest on their own schedules as they need to, whereas toddlers and preschool age children will rest on assigned cots.

Rest time will be around 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM.

Our goal is to make your child as comfortable as possible during this time so you may send a blanket with them to hlep them feel secure at this time.

We also understand that each child is unique so we will make every effort to see that your child's individual sleeping needs are met.
Personal Items

Each child will be provided an assigned place in which to keep his/her personal belongings. It will be labeled with your child's name and only his/her things will be put there. You will need to bring in the following items for your child (as they apply to you):
  • Diapers or pull-ups (you may bring in a week's worth or more at a time. We will notify you as more are needed or you may bring in more every Monday.)
  • A change of clothes including socks. Infants may need several changes. When your child is potty-training, please send in several outfits and underwear.
  • Bottles and formula or breast-milk will need to be sent in on a daily bases.
  • 1 or 2 sippy cups (the daycare will provide juice)

We ask that your child does not bring in toys or money because it may be damaged or misplaced.

Other items may become needed throughout the year. We will make you aware of this if the need arises.

We are a small facility, so we will not be able to wash soiled clothes at this time. If your child has an accident, these clothes will be sent home in a plastic bag when you pick up your child.

You will need to send in clothes to replace them when your child returns the following day.New Life Baptist Church

Food
The daycare will provide food and juice for the children. We will serve meals on the following schedule:
  • Breakfast will be served to children who arrive before 8:30 AM.
  • A mid-morning snack will be given around 10:15 AM each morning.
  • Lunch will be served at 11:30 AM.
  • An afternoon snack will be given after nap time
  • We will not be serving an evening meal.

All meals will be served family style at the table, and we will ask the blessing before we eat. If your child requires a highchair, one will be provided for him/her.

If your child requires a special diet you will be responsible for his/her food.

Birthdays and Holidays
If you wish to send in food for your child's birthday, we will be glad to make arrangements for you to do so.

Throughout the year we will have various opportunities for parents to help by sending in items for holiday parties or special events. There will be a sign-up sheet posted, and those wishing to help may do so.
