| What is Angel Food? | |

Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit organization that has developed a unique food outreach program. Once a month, using high-volume buying and volunteer labor to cut costs, they are able to make boxes of food available to the public at a fraction of the normal cost.

| Who Qualifies? | |
|
Everyone, there are no applications or qualifications to order Angel Food. This is an outreach for the local community. While it's terrific for those in the most difficult financial situations, it is also designed as a tool for those who want to stretch their budget in order to be able to give more, or those who are trying to save money and reduce expenses. There are also countless people who are doing very well financially, but buy several boxes to give to those in need. It's a great way for the average person to do a little each month to help others!

| How is Angel Food different from other food programs or food banks? | |
|
First, there are no applications, no income restrictions or other requirements to be met, etc. People can order one box or many. Second, this is fresh, and in most cases, name-brand foods -not just another "give-away" program using commodities or outdated foods. Third, it's not a food bank, since all the food is distributed on a single day. And since people are required to pay something for the food they obtain, many don't lose their sense of dignity that often occurs when using food banks and other sources.

| Where does the food come from? | |
|
Our food is “restaurant grade” meats, frozen vegetables, fruits, dairy products, etc. which we acquire through our involvement with only the best producers/vendors of high quality, “name brand” foods. Never “seconds” or “day old” type products are involved.

| Can we receive more than one unit or special? | |
Yes, you can order as many regular units as you would like. To receive a special box you must first order a regular unit.

| When do I pay? | |
You pay at the time you order. If you order online, you can pay with credit or debit card. Otherwise, we currently accept cash and food stamps when you order in person at New Life Baptist church. Note: Food stamp orders must be placed in person, and a valid ID/license and food stamp card is required.

| Where do I pick up my food? | |
|
Each month on a Saturday there will be a distribution day. You will know as soon as you order the day and time of pick up. You will receive a receipt when you order with the distribution date on it. BRING RECIEPT WITH YOU WHEN YOU COME TO PICK UP YOUR FOOD! All orders not picked up during distribution times will be forfeited and donated to those in need. No refunds or credits. Don't forget to bring a large box or container to carry all of your food!

| Do you have to be a member of, or attend, your church to order? | |
|
NO, you do not have to be a member or attend our church to order. This is a ministry we are providing to the local community to help reduce the impact of today's weaker economy.
